Aloha! My name is Ama and I am from the Te Waka Ako block. I think I would like to make contact with the new inhabitants of the planet. This is because I like meeting different kinds of new people and making friends. I would talk to them in simple sign language so they understand. I would ask them their names, likes and dislikes. There are so many hypotheticals in this situation aren't there. I agree if I found out there was another planet with life forms I would want to make contact in some way.
If i found a group of aliens I will contact because I could make new friends and leran more about their planet. I would say what up my name is leilah and I would like to know ho you are whats your name. And would contact by a devie
No because it could be anything, including a giant brown worm that has lots of teeth but if I had to I would say hello. also I would say it quietly an high pitched voice and except a jumpscare.
I want to talk to the people on this planet and I want to see them. I want to ask them questions because I want to know what space is like. I want to ask them how many days have they been working. I want to ask how many days have they been researching and experiments. It is great to be knowing you and I want to join with you and I want to do things like you people.
Good thinking Aarav. I would want to know about space as well. I would like to know how the huge distances can be covered so we could meet other life forms.
If there was a another life form found I would try to make contact because it would give me a chance to explore different creatures and make new friends with different talents. I would say '' Hello my name is Chimay! '' and if that didn't work I would give them some New Zealand food and would let them taste it. I would communicate using a translator translating different languages saying different things like whats your name? and how are you?
I would, because it is too late to fix all of Earth and if we can travel that Planet then we can keep it clean and we can make sure that planet will not be polluted and that planet will be Carbon Free. I would try to meet lots of people and start life groups to keep the Planet clean, I would research that planet and where in the Solar System is it and I would make blog posts about that Planet and try to communicate with the people on that planet.
We would so have to learn from our mistakes wouldn't we!! We would not want to destroy parts of another planet like we have Earth. How we would communicate is an interesting thinking process.
If there was another life form found, I would probably try make contact because I want to have a chance to make new friends. I would communicate through actions and I would tell them that my name is Neeve and that I am a friend. I would give them something that would remind them of Earth.
If we found life on another planet I would want to make contact but I think I would make contact from long range first, just to make sure the don't want to rip off my limbs and eat me. Would we know what planet they live on? Because I don't think scientists can make a long range radio that goes to Pluto! Even if we did manage to call them or connect to their radio system I doubt they would speak any language that we have on earth!
Yes the logistics of if it can happen are mind blowing really aren't they. I would also stand back and like Abigail says they might have bacteria or diseases that could wipe us out. The hyper drive idea in Star Wars would need to be possible to travel the distances to planets outside our solar system.
If I were there on another dimension I would greet them and say hi, Would make new friends and ask them questions like how did you get here and how long have you been living here. I would spend time with the people and take them to earth so they can see something thats different to there dimension. I would love to meet them and make contact, I will never forget the planet and stay their if I like it. I will never forget anything and meet once again.

Second of all, I'm not sure when will this discovery will ever happen. I might be super old when that happens. So my body might have a hard time or can't survive the conditions in space.
My last statement is that these life might have bacteria. A bacteria that your body might be able to handle. The different life might not the same personality or can get provoked easily. So, for me, I would just back off and let them live in peace.
So, therefore, I state my reasons of why I would not interact with other organisms that are not humans.
Love how you set your comment up as a short persuasive piece of writing Abigail. You have some very good points as to why you wouldn't approach life forms. I would really think about the bacteria angle as well. Nice job!

ReplyDeleteIt would be tricky trying to communicate, I agree. I think food is a good idea although what they eat could be completing foreign to what humans eat.
